الخالدون جمال الأرض ما طلعوا

الخالدون جمال الأرض ما طلعوا

و الخالدون سنا الآباد  ما  همدوا

و الخالدون سنا الآباد ما همدوا

The immortals are the earth's beauty while they shine forth;

The immortals are the beauty of the earth, they have not faded

And the immortals are eternity's radiance when they lie still.

And the immortals are the glory of eternity, their light has not dimmed

في العبقرية أحقابٌ لهم قُشُبٌ

في العبقرية أحقابٌ لهم قُشُبٌ

و في البطولة آبادٌ له، م جُدُدُ

و في البطولة آبادٌ له، م جُدُدُ

In genius, fresh ages are theirs;

In genius they have epochs attributed to them

And in heroism, new eternities are theirs.

And in heroism they have eternal glories that are renewed

عاشوا جمال الدُّنا نَزَلَت

عاشوا جمال الدُّنا نَزَلَت

بهم مناياهُمُ بين الوَرَى خَلَدوا

بهم مناياهُمُ بين الوَرَى خَلَدوا

They lived as the beauty of the worlds; there descended

They lived the beauty of life, and when

Upon them their deaths; among humankind they lived forever.

Death took them among mankind, they were immortalized

كأنما يبدءونَ العُمُرَ ثانية ً

كأنما يبدءونَ العُمُرَ ثانية ً

فإنْ هُمُ لَفَظوا أنفاسَهَم وُلِدُوا

فإنْ هُمُ لَفَظوا أنفاسَهَم وُلِدُوا

As though they begin life a second time;

As if they begin life anew

For if they breathe their last, they are born.

For when they breathed their last, they were reborn
