كَأَنّها بَعدَما مالَ الشُريفُ بِها
قُرقورُa large ship أَعجَمَof a foreigner فيin ذيhaving لُجَّةٍdeep water جارِsailing
قُرقورُ أَعجَمَ في ذي لُجَّةٍ جارِ
As though she, after al-Shurayf had made her sway,
As if after the noble one inclined towards her
were a foreigner's large ship sailing in deep water.
