شَلّاًdriving off كَماjust as تَطرُدُdrive off الجَمّالَةُthe camel-drivers الشُرُداthe straying camels
شَلّاً كَما تَطرُدُ الجَمّالَةُ الشُرُدا
Until, when they had driven them into Quta’idah,
Until when they put them in chains
driving them off as camel-drivers drive straying camels.
