وَلا مُكَلَّلَةٌ راجَ الشَمالُ بِها

وَلا مُكَلَّلَةٌ راجَ الشَمالُ بِها

في ناحِراتِ سِرارٍ بَعدَ إِهلالِ

في ناحِراتِ سِرارٍ بَعدَ إِهلالِ

Nor a wreathed cloud that the north wind drove to and fro,

In the closing, moonless nights, after the crescent’s appearance.
