يَطولُhe is taller عَلىthan الرَمحِthe spear الرُدَينيRudayni قامَةًin stature
يَطولُ عَلى الرَمحِ الرُدَيني قامَةً
وََقصُرُand falls short عَنهُof him باعُthe span كُلِّevery نَجادِsword-baldric
وََقصُرُ عَنهُ باعُ كُلِّ نَجادِ
He surpasses the Rudayni spear in stature,
He stands tall atop the spear, the generous one,
He towers in stature over the Rudayni spear,
and the span of every sword-baldric falls short of him.
Yet falls short of it, the reach of all nobles.
And the reach of every warrior falls short of his.
