لا تبرح العرصة يابن اليثربي
حتىuntil أقاتلكI fight you علىfor دينthe faith of عليAli
حتى أقاتلك على دين علي
Do not leave the open ground, O son of al-Yathribi,
Do not leave the arena, O son of Yathribi
until I fight you for the faith of Ali.
Until I fight you for Ali's religion
نحنُwe وبيتby the House of اللهGod أولىmore entitled بالنبيto the Prophet
نحنُ وبيت الله أولى بالنبي
We, by the House of God, have a greater claim to the Prophet.
We and the House of God have more right to the Prophet
