يَهديhe guides الخَميسَthe army نَجاداًuplands فيin مطالِعِهاtheir ascents
يَهدي الخَميسَ نَجاداً في مطالِعِها
إِمّاeither المِصاعُsword combat وَإِمّاor alternatively ضَربَةٌa blow رُعبُterror
إِمّا المِصاعُ وَإِمّا ضَربَةٌ رُعبُ
He guides the army through the uplands, along their ascents:
The Thursday brings a deer at dawn
Either sword combat or a terror-striking blow.
Either a bright arrow or a terrifying strike
