ذُلِّيَmy abasement فيin حُبِّكَloving you ماnot يُذْكَرُis spoken of
ذُلِّيَ في حُبِّكَ ما يُذْكَرُ
وَوَجْدُand the yearning قَلْبيof my heart بِكَfor you لاnot يَفْتُرُwanes
وَوَجْدُ قَلْبي بِكَ لا يَفْتُرُ
My abasement in loving you is not spoken of.
Humbled in your love, beyond words
And my heart's yearning for you never wanes.
My heart’s fervor for you won’t be deterred
أَنْفاسُthe breaths قَلْبيof my heart رِيحُهاtheir wind عاصِفٌtempestuous
أَنْفاسُ قَلْبي رِيحُها عاصِفٌ
وَصَحنُand the surface خَدِّيof my cheek أَبداًforever يمطرُrains
وَصَحنُ خَدِّي أَبداً يمطرُ
The wind of my heart's breaths is tempestuous.
My heart’s breaths gust like a storm
And the surface of my cheek rains forever.
My cheeks rain tears that never conform
