لاَ تَظْلِمُوا النَّاسَ وَلا تَطْلُبُوا

لاَ تَظْلِمُوا النَّاسَ وَلا تَطْلُبُوا

بِثَأْرِيَ اليَوْمَ أَذى مُسْلِمِ

بِثَأْرِيَ اليَوْمَ أَذى مُسْلِمِ

Do not wrong people, nor seek

Do not oppress people, nor seek

To harm a Muslim today in revenge for me.

revenge today for my wounds.

وَيَا لِقَوْمي دُونَكُمْ شَادِناً

وَيَا لِقَوْمي دُونَكُمْ شَادِناً

مُعْتَدِلَ القَامَةِ وَالمَبْسِمِ

مُعْتَدِلَ القَامَةِ وَالمَبْسِمِ

And O my people, take this young gazelle,

And O my people, below you we have built

Well-proportioned in stature and smiling mouth.

a balanced, smiling society.

وإِنْ أَبى إِلا جُحُود الهَوى

وإِنْ أَبى إِلا جُحُود الهَوى

وَاكْتَتَمَ الأَمْرُ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمِ

وَاكْتَتَمَ الأَمْرُ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمِ

And if he insists on nothing but denying love,

And if he insists on denying the truth

And the matter remains concealed, and he does not know,

and hiding the matter without knowing,

قُولُوا لَهُ يَكْشِفُ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ

قُولُوا لَهُ يَكْشِفُ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ

فَإِنَّ فِيهِ نُقْطَة مِنْ دَمِي

فَإِنَّ فِيهِ نُقْطَة مِنْ دَمِي

Tell him to uncover his face,
