لَها مِنَ الزَّهْرِ أَنْجُمٌ زُهْرُ
And a garden, tended by the dew, now
A garden refreshed by the dew, it became
has radiant stars of blossoms.
Adorned with flowers like twinkling stars

ثوباً مِنَ الوَشْيِ حاكَهُ القَطْرُ
The hand of spring unfurls for us within it
Spring spreads there, weaving for us
a robe of brocade woven by the rain.
A green robe knitted by the rain
كأَنَّماas though انْشَقَّsplit open مِنْbecause of شَقائِقِهاits anemones
كأَنَّما انْشَقَّ مِنْ شَقائِقِها

عَلى رُباها مَطارِفٌ خُضْرُ
As though its anemones had torn open
As if slits split from its daisies
green cloaks upon its hills.
Over their cheeks, green veils
ثُمَّthen تَبَدَّتْthey appeared كأَنَّهاas though they were حَدَقٌeyes

Then they appeared as though they were eyes,
Then it appeared as if it were an eye
their eyelids red with their blood.
Whose eyelids were red from its tears
