لَمْ تَكْتَحِلْ قَطُّ لَذَّةَ الغُمْضِ
A narcissus has never ceased to stare,
A narcissus that kept staring
Never once has it lined its eyes with the delight of closing them.
Never did enjoy a wink

The rain has bent it, so it is bewildered,
The rain soaked it, and it faded
Watching what the sky does to the earth.
Looking to the sky's deeds on earth
