نَرْجِسُnarcissus عَيْنَيْكَyour two eyes عَطَّلَeclipsed النَّرْجِسْthe narcissus
نَرْجِسُ عَيْنَيْكَ عَطَّلَ النَّرْجِسْ
لَمَّاwhen تَوَطَّىbowed low وذَلَّand grew humble فيin المَجْلِسْthe gathering
لَمَّا تَوَطَّى وذَلَّ في المَجْلِسْ
The narcissus of your eyes eclipsed the narcissus,
The narcissus of your eyes has disabled narcissus
When it bowed low and grew humble in the gathering.
When it stepped down and bent in the assembly
أَبْصَرَsaw عَيْنَيْكَyour two eyes فانْثَنىthen it turned away خَجِلاًin shame
أَبْصَرَ عَيْنَيْكَ فانْثَنى خَجِلاً
مِنْكَbefore you بِفَرْطِbecause of the excess of الجَمالِbeauty قَدْindeed أُبْلِسْwas struck dumb
مِنْكَ بِفَرْطِ الجَمالِ قَدْ أُبْلِسْ
It saw your eyes and turned away in shame,
It saw your eyes so it bent down shyly
Before you, struck dumb by surpassing beauty.
From you, due to the excess of beauty, it got undressed
