وَأَطرَقَand he lowered his head إِطراقَa lowering of the head الشُجاعِthe serpent وَقَدand already جَرىflowed
وَأَطرَقَ إِطراقَ الشُجاعِ وَقَد جَرى
عَلىover حَدِّthe edge of نابَيهِits two fangs الذُعافُthe deadly venom المُسَمِّمُpoisonous
عَلى حَدِّ نابَيهِ الذُعافُ المُسَمِّمُ
And he lowered his head like a serpent, while there flowed
And he bowed his head down, bow of the valiant, when
Over the edges of its two fangs the deadly, poisonous venom.
Over the edge of his blade the poisoned blood flowed
