The fever has done harm, yet for me
It has done good by reminding me of repentance.
تُرْجِعُit restores ليto me رُوحِيmy soul إذاwhen وَدّعَتْit bids farewell

It restores my soul to me when it bids farewell,
Then turns back, swift to return.

And I have a doctor who said, “Do not fear it.”
So I said, “You did not witness the bout with me.”
