قُلْ لِلوَزِيرِ عليِّ يا اب

قُلْ لِلوَزِيرِ عليِّ يا اب

نَ مُحمَّدٍ وَهْوَ الوَلِيُّ

نَ مُحمَّدٍ وَهْوَ الوَلِيُّ

Say to the vizier Ali: “O son

Tell the minister Ali, O son of

of Muhammad—and he is the patron—

Muhammad, and he is the guardian -

مَن ذا أَحقُّ بِأَنْ يَزورَ النِّ

مَن ذا أَحقُّ بِأَنْ يَزورَ النِّ

بيلَ غيرُكَ يا عَلِيُّ

بيلَ غيرُكَ يا عَلِيُّ

who is more entitled to visit the noble

Who else has more right than you to visit the path,

one than you, O Ali?

Other than you, O Ali?

وَكِلاكُما جَارٍ ول

وَكِلاكُما جَارٍ ول

كِنْ أَنتَ لِلجَارِ الوَفِيُّ

كِنْ أَنتَ لِلجَارِ الوَفِيُّ

And both of you flow, but

And you both are neighbors, but

you are faithful to the neighbor.”

You are the faithful neighbor
