عَصْرَO days of الشَّبابِyouth وَأَيْنَand where ذاكthat الشَّاهِدُwitness
عَصْرَ الشَّبابِ وَأَيْنَ ذاك الشَّاهِدُ
My services—[“knowledge; this house”: wording unclear]—you bear witness to them for me,
My ruined abode bears witness for me,
O days of youth—and where is that witness?
