تُ حَرِيصاً مَدَى الزَّمان عَليها
May God reward a night—I had long

been eager for it throughout time.
Striven for it through the ages patiently.

It raised me to the sanctuary of the most
It raised me to the loftiest heights of honor, so

And enough for me from it is to attain an utterance
Suffice it me to reach a place of words
to which the star could not rise.
Too high for stars in rising to attain.
