إذاif يَئِسَdespairs المَرْءُthe man منof أَيرهِhis penis
إذا يَئِسَ المَرْءُ من أَيرهِ
رَأَتْsees عِرْسُهُhis wife اليَأْسَdespair مِنfrom غَيْرهِsomeone other than him
رَأَتْ عِرْسُهُ اليَأْسَ مِن غَيْرهِ
If a man despairs of his penis,
When a man despairs of his own worth
his wife sees despair in someone else.
Others will mark his despair of worth in them
وَمَنand whoever كانَis فيin سِنّهِhis age طَاعِناًadvanced
وَمَن كانَ في سِنّهِ طَاعِناً
فَقَدْthen indeed عَدِمَhas lost الطَّعْنَthrusting فيinto غَيْرهِsomeone other than him
فَقَدْ عَدِمَ الطَّعْنَ في غَيْرهِ
And whoever is advanced in age
And he who in his age finds fault
has indeed lost the power to thrust into another.
Will miss finding fault in others
