I did not bid farewell to him who departed in God's peace,
I did not bid farewell to one who walked in the protection of God,
while my heart travels beneath his stirrups.
While my heart travels beneath his feet.

May God water his dwelling wherever he settles,
And may God water his home wherever he settles,
and may rain settle south of his clouds.
As life settles to the south of its clouds.
