Fragrance comes forth easily

Sweet perfume flows freely

from a hand that bestows bounty;

From the hand that gives generously

والذِي يَخبُثُ لا يُ

والذِي يَخبُثُ لا يُ

يخْرِج إلاَّ نَكَدَا

يخْرِج إلاَّ نَكَدَا

and what is foul does not

While mean spirits reluctantly dole out

bring forth anything but misery.
