Sol 6.1

  1. عَالَجْتُهُ بِثَناءٍ

    ثُمَّ انتَقلْتُ لِعَتْبي

    I treated him with praise.

    Then I turned to reproaching him.

  2. فَلَمْ يُفِدْ ذا وَلاذا

    والكَيُّ آخِرُ طِبّي

    Yet neither this nor that availed.

    And cautery is my last remedy.
