وَاجعَلْ لهذا آخِراً إنَّهُ

وَاجعَلْ لهذا آخِراً إنَّهُ

لا شيءَ إلاَّ وَلهُ آخِرُ

لا شيءَ إلاَّ وَلهُ آخِرُ

And put an end to this, for indeed

there is nothing that does not have an end.

وَقَد تَناسَى الناسُ بي أَشْعَباً

وَقَد تَناسَى الناسُ بي أَشْعَباً

وسَارَ باسمِي المَثلُ السَّائِرُ

وسَارَ باسمِي المَثلُ السَّائِرُ

And because of me, people have forgotten Ashʿab,

And the well-known proverb has spread in my name.
