إلى بَابِهِ مِن كُلِّ قَطْرٍ كَبيرُهُ
A small, worn-out waterskin did him no harm, for already there had come by night
No harm in petty slander if to his abode
to his door, from every region, its great one.
Ride, from each clime, the grandsires of its tribes;

On horses’ backs he was reared from his earliest days,
His steeds are currycombed while the children's bed
when his cradle and bed nurtured him as an infant.
And couch bear all the weight of him they cherish.
