وَرِجْلي على قَدْرِ الكِساءِ مَدَدْتُها

وَرِجْلي على قَدْرِ الكِساءِ مَدَدْتُها

كذاكَ يَدِي أيضاً تُمَدُّ لِكيسي

كذاكَ يَدِي أيضاً تُمَدُّ لِكيسي

And I stretched my leg as far as the blanket allowed;

My legs stretched to the length of my gown

Likewise, my hand too is extended toward my purse.

And so too my hands reached for my purse
