وَبِتْنا سِرَاجَيْنِ في مَدْحِهِ

وَبِتْنا سِرَاجَيْنِ في مَدْحِهِ

كِلانا يُؤَجَّجُ في القلبِ نارا

كِلانا يُؤَجَّجُ في القلبِ نارا

And we spent the night as two lamps in praise of him;

We are two lamps praising him

each of us is kindled as a fire within the heart.

Each igniting a fire in the heart
