أَكَلناwe ate الشَوىthe inferior livestock حَتّىuntil إِذاwhen لَمdid not نَجِدwe find شَوىًinferior livestock
أَكَلنا الشَوى حَتّى إِذا لَم نَجِد شَوىً
أَشَرناwe pointed إِلىto خَيراتِهاits finest animals بِالأَصابِعِwith the fingers
أَشَرنا إِلى خَيراتِها بِالأَصابِعِ
We ate the lesser livestock until, when we could find no more,
We ate the roasted meat until no more roasted meat was found
We pointed with our fingers to the finest of the herd.
We pointed to its goodness with our fingers
