أَثَمَّwas it there? غَدَوتَyou began بَعدَafter ذاكَthat تَلومُنيyou blame me
أَثَمَّ غَدَوتَ بَعدَ ذاكَ تَلومُني
فسائِلthen ask ذَويthose possessing الأَحلامِsound judgment مَنwho كانَwas أَلوَماmore blameworthy
فسائِل ذَوي الأَحلامِ مَن كانَ أَلوَما
Was it there that, after that, you began blaming me?
How dare you, after that, blame me,
Then ask those of sound judgment who was more to blame.
Ask those possessed by dreams who was more to blame.
