إِنَّ السَماءَ وَإِنَّ الريحَ شاهِدَةٌ

إِنَّ السَماءَ وَإِنَّ الريحَ شاهِدَةٌ

وَالأَرضُ تَشهَدُ وَالأَيّامُ وَالبَلَدُ

وَالأَرضُ تَشهَدُ وَالأَيّامُ وَالبَلَدُ

Indeed, the sky and the wind bear witness,

The sky bears witness, and so does the wind,

And the earth bears witness, and the days and the land.

The earth testifies, and the days and the country.

لَقَد جَزَيتُ بَني بَدرٍ بِبَغيِهِمُ

لَقَد جَزَيتُ بَني بَدرٍ بِبَغيِهِمُ

عَلى الهَباءَةِ يَوماً ما لَهُ قودُ

عَلى الهَباءَةِ يَوماً ما لَهُ قودُ

Indeed, I repaid the sons of Badr for their aggression,

I have repaid the people of Badr for their aggression

At al-Haba’ah, with a day for which there is no blood-retribution.

Against the helpless, one day which has no equal.
