When wealth comes—grazing livestock and other riches—
When wealth comes rushing in, spend it fast,
then its increase is swifter than a glance of the eye.
For its decay, when it turns away, is swift.

وَشيكاً مِنَ التَثميرِ أَرجى وَأَنجَعُ
And if it turns away, retreating, then its disappearance
Spending it the moment it's in hand
before long is likelier and more effective than its increase.
Is best if it departs your land.
