لا يَنبَحُ الكَلبُ فيها غَيرَ واحِدَةٍ

لا يَنبَحُ الكَلبُ فيها غَيرَ واحِدَةٍ

حَتّى يُلَفَّ عَلى خَيشومِهِ الذَنَبا

حَتّى يُلَفَّ عَلى خَيشومِهِ الذَنَبا

The dog there gives no more than a single bark,

The dog barks not therein save one bark,

before its tail is wrapped over its snout.

Until his nose is twisted round his tail.
