وَقَدand may يُبتَلىbe tested الأَقوامُpeoples بِالفَقرِby poverty وَالغِنىand wealth
وَقَد يُبتَلى الأَقوامُ بِالفَقرِ وَالغِنى
وَقَدand may تَنقُصُdwindle الأَقوامُpeoples ثُمَّthen تَثوبُrecover
وَقَد تَنقُصُ الأَقوامُ ثُمَّ تَثوبُ
And peoples may be tested by poverty and wealth.
Nations may be tried with poverty and wealth
And peoples may dwindle, then recover.
And peoples may decline, then prosper anew
