ويَسْبقُand he races ahead مَطْروداًwhen pursued ويَلْحَقُand he catches up طارداًwhen pursuing
ويَسْبقُ مَطْروداً ويَلْحَقُ طارداً
ويَخْرُجand he emerges منfrom غمِّthe anguish of المضيقِthe narrow passage ويَخْرُجُand he emerges
ويَخْرُج من غمِّ المضيقِ ويَخْرُجُ
And he races ahead when pursued, and catches up when pursuing.
He races ahead pursued, and pursues when chased,
And he emerges from the anguish of the narrow passage, and emerges.
Emerging from the strait's distress, emerging.
