1. الصَّلاة عَليك يا شَمس الكَمال

    الصَّلاة عَلَيك يا بَدر الجَمالِ

    Blessings upon you, O sun of perfection.

    Blessings upon you, O full moon of beauty.

  2. الصَّلاة عَليك مِن مَولى المَوالي

    دَواماً ما بَدا نُور الهِلالِ

    Blessings upon you from the Master of masters,

    Evermore, as long as the crescent's light appears.

  3. رَسول اللَّهِ يا طور الشهود

    وَيا عَين المُراد مِن الوُجودِ

    Messenger of God, O mount of witnessing,

    And O essence of what is sought from existence,

  4. تصدق منّةً بِوَفاء جُود

    يَبلغني مَقامات الرِجالِ

    Bestow a favor with unstinting bounty

    That brings me to the stations of the spiritual adepts.

  5. الصَّلاة عَلَيك يا غَيث النَوال

    الصَّلاة عَليك يا سامي المَعالي

    Blessings upon you, O rain of bounty.

    Blessings upon you, O exalted in noble virtues.

  6. الصَّلاة عَلَيك من مولى الموالي

    دَواماً ما صَفا عين الزلالِ

    Blessings upon you from the Master of masters,

    Evermore, as long as the spring of limpid water runs clear.

  7. بَلغت مِن الكَرامة أَيّ غاية

    إِلَيها مُنتَهى أَقصى النِّهاية

    What a summit of honor you have reached—

    Where the furthest limit reaches its end.

  8. وَكَم لَك يا حَبيب القَلب آيه

    جَلت عَلياك في أَهل الكَمالِ

    And how many a sign is yours, O beloved of the heart,

    Revealing your eminence among the people of perfection.

  9. الصَّلاة عَليك يا حسن الفِعال

    الصَّلاة عَليك يا زاكي الحَلالِ

    Blessings upon you, O beautiful in deeds.

    Blessings upon you, O pure in what is lawful.

  10. الصَّلاة عَلَيك من مولى الموالي

    دَواماً ما أَضنت غرر اللآلي

    Blessings upon you from the Master of masters,

    Evermore, as long as the choicest pearls cause languor.

  11. جَمالك فائق للعَقل فاتن

    وَحُبك في صَميم القَلب ساكن

    Your beauty is peerless, enchanting to the mind;

    And your love dwells in the heart's innermost core.

  12. وَسرك في الوَرى ظاهر وَباطن

    وَجاهك عدة عِندَ المَآلِ

    And your mystery is manifest and hidden among humankind;

    And your standing is a safeguard at the final return.

  13. الصَّلاة عَليك يا محي اللَيالي

    الصَلاة عَليك يا ذُخر المَوالي

    Blessings upon you, O giver of life to the nights.

    Blessings upon you, O treasure of the masters.

  14. الصَّلاة عَليك من مولى الموالي

    دَواماً ما همت ديم النوالِ

    Blessings upon you from the Master of masters,

    Evermore, as long as the steady rains of bounty pour.

  15. إِلَيكَ تَوجهي في كُل أَمر

    وَعَنكَ رِوايَتي في كُلِّ خَيرِ

    To you I turn in every matter;

    And from you I recount all that is good.

  16. وَأَنتَ وَسيلَتي في جَبر كَسري

    وَأَنتَ ذَخيرَتي في كُلِّ حالِ

    And you are my means of mending my brokenness;

    And you are my treasure in every state.

  17. الصَّلاة عَليك يا سر الوصال

    الصَّلاة عَلَيك يا كنز الرِّجالِ

    Blessings upon you, O secret of union.

    Blessings upon you, O treasure of the spiritual adepts.

  18. الصَّلاة عَلَيك مِن مَولى المَوالي

    دَواماً ما بَدا مَعنى مَقالي

    Blessings upon you from the Master of masters,

    Evermore, as long as the meaning of my speech appears.

  19. تصدق يا رَسول اللَّهِ وَأشفع

    إِلى الرَّحمَن يا أَعلى مشفعِ

    Be generous, O Messenger of God, and intercede

    With the All-Merciful, O highest of accepted intercessors,

  20. بِنَيل مُرادنا وَالقَصد أَجمَع

    مِن الدارين يا كنز المَعالي

    For us to attain our desire and our aim in full

    From both abodes, O treasure of noble virtues.

  21. الصَّلاة عَلَيك يا ضافي الظِّلال

    الصَّلاة عَلَيك يا ماحي الضلالِ

    Blessings upon you, O you of ample shade.

    Blessings upon you, O effacer of error.

  22. الصَّلاة عَليك من مولى الموالي

    دَواماً ما صَفا حال لِحالي

    Blessings upon you from the Master of masters,

    Evermore, as long as a state grows serene for my own.

  23. بِهَديك اِقتَدى في كُل منسك

    وَلي قَلب بِجاهك قَد تمسك

    Your guidance has been followed in every rite;

    And I have a heart that has held fast to your standing,

  24. تَمسك مَن لَهُ في الحُب مَسلَك

    حَميد قَدره عالي وَغالي

    As one holds fast whose path in love

    Is praiseworthy, whose worth is lofty and precious.

  25. الصَّلاة عَلَيك يا عالي المَجالي

    الصَّلاة عَلَيك يا بَدر الجَمالِ

    Blessings upon you, O exalted in manifestations.

    Blessings upon you, O full moon of beauty.

  26. الصَّلاة عَلَيك مِن مَولى المَوالي

    دَواماً سَرمداً في كُلِّ حالِ

    Blessings upon you from the Master of masters,

    Evermore, eternally, in every state.

  27. الصَّلاة عَلَيك ما هَبت نَسائم

    وَما دَنَت المَراحم بِالكَرائمِ

    Blessings upon you as long as breezes blow,

    And as long as mercies draw near with precious gifts,

  28. وَأسعفت المَكارم بِالمَغانم

    وَلاحَ تَجلياً لِلوَهم جالي

    And noble favors bring gains,

    And a revealer shines forth, manifest to the imagination.
