A lineage in whose shining radiance vanished

The light of the suns and the splendor of the moons.

And it was clothed by the Most Merciful in a robe of majesty,

Before which all eyes grew weary.

And it was pure and good, and remained an unbroken chain,

Forever, from the pure to the pure.

How could it be otherwise, when Taha is the full moon on its sky’s horizon?

And in him it takes pride—and what pride!

May God bless him as long as the morning light shines,

And a nightingale’s voice sings upon the branches.
