His night is pitch black, dawn reveals
Until daybreak unveiled a rose-red, chestnut hue.
A radiant, blushing rose amid the dark.
تبسَّمsmiled مُحمراًreddening خلالَamid سوادِهits blackness
تبسَّم مُحمراً خلالَ سوادِه
تبسُّمthe smile of وردِthe rose of الخدِّthe cheek فيin الصُدُغِthe sidelock الجَعدِcurly
تبسُّم وردِ الخدِّ في الصُدُغِ الجَعدِ
It smiled crimson amid its blackness,
A rosy smile blooms through the gloom
Like the smile of a cheek’s rose amid a curly sidelock.
