أَضحَت يُنَفِّرُها الوِلدانُ مِن سَبَإٍ

أَضحَت يُنَفِّرُها الوِلدانُ مِن سَبَإٍ

كأَنَّهُم تَحتَ دَفَّيها دَحارِيجُ

كأَنَّهُم تَحتَ دَفَّيها دَحارِيجُ

By morning, the boys of Sheba were driving her onward;

Now the boys of Saba frighten her away,

beneath her two flanks, they seemed like little rolling balls.

as though they were dung beetles beneath her flanks.
