كَأَنَّas though قَطاتَهاher rump كَردُوسُa large bony joint فَحلٍa bull camel
مُقلَّصَةٌdrawn up عَلىon سَاقيthe two legs of ظلِيمِa male ostrich
As though her rump were a bull camel's bony joint,
Her cats are like the swollen testicles of a rutting stallion
Drawn up on the two legs of a male ostrich.
Crouched on my sleek calves
إِذاwhenever ماever (emphasis) سَوءَةٌa disgrace غَرَّاءُglaring ماتَتhas died
أَتَيتَyou brought بسَوءَةٍwith a disgrace أُخرىanother بهيمِpitch-black
Whenever a glaring disgrace dies away,
When an impudent flirt dies
You bring another, pitch-black disgrace.
You fetch another, equally whorish
وَماand not تَنفَكُّyou cease تُرحَضُyou are washed كُلَّevery يَومٍday
مِنof السَوءاتِthe disgraces كَالطِفلِlike the infant النَهيمِravenous
And you never cease to be washed each day
And ceaselessly, day after day
Of disgraces, like a ravenous infant.
You scurry after wenches like an infant suckling
أَكُلَّall (interrogative) الدَهرِtime سَعيُكَyour striving فيin تَبابٍruin; loss
تُناغيyou coo to كُلَّevery مُومِسَةٍharlot أَثيمِsinful
Is your striving forever in vain,
Your whole life you've bustled about on frivolous errands
As you coo to every sinful harlot?
Wooing every loose woman of ill repute
