سَمحَ الخَلائِقِ مِكراماً ضَريبَتُهُ

سَمحَ الخَلائِقِ مِكراماً ضَريبَتُهُ

إِذا تَهَشَّمتَهُ لِلنائِلِ اِختالا

إِذا تَهَشَّمتَهُ لِلنائِلِ اِختالا

Generous in character, lavish in giving by nature,

The best of men are kindest to fellow men;

When you entreat him for a gift, he struts proudly.

If harmed they show no anger afterward.
