Ridwan turned away from his guest.

Have my warnings not reached Ridwan?

It is enough that the people know

that you are wealthy and harmful among them.

The company of night visitors has learned

that for a guest, you are hunger and cold.

You are bland, like the flesh of a young camel:

    neither sweet nor bitter.

Whenever the people gather, you do not join them,

as though donkeys had borne you.

    But Ridwan, in his baseness,

is stingy with every good and evil.
