The world is nothing but Humayd

The world is but a transient home,

and his great favors.

And its riches ephemeral.

فَإِذا وَلّى حُمَيدٌ

فَإِذا وَلّى حُمَيدٌ

فَعَلى الدُنيا السَلامُ

فَعَلى الدُنيا السَلامُ

So when Humayd departs,

When the home passes,

then farewell to the world.

Farewell to the world's veneer.
