لَولاwere it not for حُمَيدٌHumayd لَمnot يَكُنbe
لَولا حُمَيدٌ لَم يَكُن
حَسَبٌancestral honor يُعَدُّis counted وَلاnor نَسَبlineage
حَسَبٌ يُعَدُّ وَلا نَسَب
Were it not for Humayd, there would be no
Without Humeid there would be
ancestral honor to count, nor lineage.
No noble lineage or pedigree to count
ياO واحِدَpeerless one among العَرَبِthe Arabs الَّذيwho
يا واحِدَ العَرَبِ الَّذي
عَزَّتgained glory بِعِزَّتِهِthrough his glory العَرَبthe Arabs
عَزَّت بِعِزَّتِهِ العَرَب
O peerless one among the Arabs, through whose
O unique one of the Arabs, by whose
glory the Arabs have gained glory.
Greatness the Arabs are made great
