وَلَهlovesick anguish بِقَلبِكَin your heart وَالدُموعُand the tears سَواكِبُstreaming down
وَلَه بِقَلبِكَ وَالدُموعُ سَواكِبُ
وَتَزَلزَلَتand shook بِالوجدِwith longing مِنكof yours مَناكِبshoulders
وَتَزَلزَلَت بِالوجدِ مِنك مَناكِب
Love's anguish fills your heart, and tears stream down.
And he has your heart and the tears are planets
And your shoulders shook with longing.
And your shoulders trembled with passion
فَكَأَنَّماso, as though سَقَطَتfell عَلَيكَupon you كَواكِبstars
فَكَأَنَّما سَقَطَت عَلَيكَ كَواكِب
وَتَصارَعَتand clashed بِالصَدرِin the chest مِنكof yours رجومmissiles (hurled stones)
وَتَصارَعَت بِالصَدرِ مِنك رجوم
So it was as though stars had fallen upon you,
As if stars had fallen upon you
And missiles clashed within your chest.
And meteors struggled in your chest
