البشر أَجرى بنبها أَنهر العَسل
وَالنَصرand victory أَضحىbecame بِتَوفيقِthrough the favor of السعودauspicious stars جَلىmanifest
وَالنَصر أَضحى بِتَوفيقِ السعود جَلى
Joy set rivers of honey flowing in Banha,
Humankind made honey rivers flow through it
And victory became manifest through the favor of auspicious stars.
And victory shone clearly with Saudi success
وافىarrived الخديويthe Khedive فَأَضحىand so became نورthe light of بَهجَتِهاits joy
وافى الخديوي فَأَضحى نور بَهجَتِها
كَالبَدرِlike the full moon فيin التمfullness أَوor كَالشَمسِlike the sun فيin الحَملAries
كَالبَدرِ في التم أَو كَالشَمسِ في الحَمل
The Khedive arrived, and the radiance of its joy became
The Khedive arrived, so his delightful light shone

وَالاِرضand the earth قَدindeed أَلبَسَتwas clothed أَبهاmost splendid (probable reading) مَطارِقُهاits mantles (probable textual correction)
وَالاِرض قَد أَلبَسَت أَبها مَطارِقُها
وَازينتand adorned itself فيin بَديعexquisite الحلىjewels وَالحللand robes

ما تم أَرض سَقاها غيث مقدمه
اِلّاexcept وَفازَتand it gained بَزاهيradiant الاِنسdelight وَالجَذلand mirth
اِلّا وَفازَت بَزاهي الاِنس وَالجَذل
There was no land watered by the rain of his arrival
No land was watered by the rain of its leading clouds
That did not gain radiant delight and mirth.
Except it won the beauty of people and vegetation
تَهللbeamed القطرthe land بَشراwith gladness منbecause of زِيارَتِهhis visit
تَهلل القطر بَشرا من زِيارَتِه
وَأَيقَنand became certain القَومthe people حُسنhappy الفَوزfulfillment بِالاِملof hope
وَأَيقَن القَوم حُسن الفَوز بِالاِمل
The land beamed with gladness at his visit,
The rain drops rejoiced at his visit
And the people were certain of the happy fulfillment of their hopes.
And the people were certain of good fortune and hope
