حل الخَديوي اِلى السَعود مُبتَهِجا

وَاِزينت مِصر اِذ نالَت أَمانيها

The Khedive came rejoicing into felicity,

The Khedive came joyfully into good fortune.

And Egypt adorned herself when she attained her hopes.

وَالقَطر أَفصَح يَشدو عِندَ مقدمه

وَالقَطر أَفصَح يَشدو عِندَ مقدمه

مَولاى سَرَت بِكَ الدُنيا وَما فيها

مَولاى سَرَت بِكَ الدُنيا وَما فيها

The land found eloquent voice, singing at his arrival:

And the land spoke eloquently, singing at his arrival:

My lord, the world and all within it journeyed with you.

My lord, the world and all within it were gladdened by you.
