بِحَمدِ اللَهِ أَقبَلَت التَهاني

بِحَمدِ اللَهِ أَقبَلَت التَهاني

وَتَم الحَظ وَاِكتَمَلَ السمود

وَتَم الحَظ وَاِكتَمَلَ السمود

With praise and thanks to God, the congratulations have come;

Praise be to God, congratulations have arrived.

and good fortune was fulfilled, and happiness reached perfection.

And good fortune is fulfilled, and rejoicing is complete.

وَقالَ العز لِلراجينَ بشر

وَقالَ العز لِلراجينَ بشر

بِصَفوِ العَيشِ شَأنك ما تُريد

بِصَفوِ العَيشِ شَأنك ما تُريد

And glory said to those who hope: “Glad tidings—

And glory said to those who hope: “Good cheer!

with life’s serenity, your lot is all that you desire.”

With life's serenity, your lot is whatever you desire.”

وَأَنتُم لِلصَفا روح ولب

وَأَنتُم لِلصَفا روح ولب

وَطلعَتِكُم يَطيبُ لَها الشُهود

وَطلعَتِكُم يَطيبُ لَها الشُهود

You are serenity’s spirit and inmost heart,

And you are the soul and essence of serenity.

and at your countenance, all who behold it are enraptured.

And beholding your countenance is a delight.
