لَيسَis not الشَّبابُyouth عَلَيكَto you الدَّهرُthroughout time مُرتَجَعاًrestored
لَيسَ الشَّبابُ عَلَيكَ الدَّهرُ مُرتَجَعاً
حتَّىuntil تَعُودَbecomes كَثيباًa sand dune أُمُّUmm (mother of) صَبَّارِṢabbār
حتَّى تَعُودَ كَثيباً أُمُّ صَبَّارِ
Youth will never be restored to you,
Youth will not return to you, ever,
Until Umm Ṣabbār becomes a sand dune.
Until the loose-weaned camel shall revisit its mother.
