يَومَ قَلَّت عِيرُهُم من عِيرِنَا
واحتمالُand the departure الَحيِّof the tribe فيat الصُّبحِdawn فَلَقa calamity
واحتمالُ الَحيِّ في الصُّبحِ فَلَق
The day their caravan departed from ours,
The day their caravan grew less than ours
And the tribe’s departure at dawn was a calamity.
And the living's endurance at dawn seemed split
