اجَتنِبAvoid أَخلاقَthe ways of مَنone whom لَمdid not تَرضَهُyou approve of him
اجَتنِب أَخلاقَ مَن لَم تَرضَهُ
لاDo not تَعِبهُfind fault with him ثُمَّthen تَقفُوfollow فيin الأَثَرthe tracks
لا تَعِبهُ ثُمَّ تَقفُو في الأَثَر
Avoid the ways of one you do not approve of.
Avoid the morals of those whom you don't appease
Do not find fault with him and then follow in his tracks.
Don't weary yourself then follow in their steps
