عَلِقَclung to الأَحشاءَthe innermost parts مِنfrom هِندٍHind عَلَقpassion
عَلِقَ الأَحشاءَ مِن هِندٍ عَلَق
مُستَسِرٌّconcealed فيهِwithin it نَصبٌweariness وأَرَقand sleeplessness
مُستَسِرٌّ فيهِ نَصبٌ وأَرَق
A passion for Hind has gripped the inmost heart,
My heart is caught in longings and sorrows
Concealed, with weariness and sleeplessness within it.
Gripped with anguish and sleepless nights
