Like a four-toothed beast, worn lean by its constant running,
A great misfortune afflicted him,
Long and straight of shank, loose at the knees,
Whose branches spread wide within it are paths,

Small-hocked and hollow-bellied,
With legs bent outwards, broken at the joints,
Long-jawed, ever wheeling, brimming with vigor.
Hair disheveled, jaws firmly locked
